Family Photo Session at Sunrise on Sunset Beach, Treasure Island

As a family photographer in St. Pete, FL, I’ve come to LOVE early mornings on Sunset Beach in Treasure Island, FL. The colors are a photographer’s dream, especially when the sun rises over the land, casting everything in soft pastel hues. This magical time of day on the beach was so perfect for this recent shoot with the Fischer family!

The Backstory

This shoot was particularly close to my heart! Almost 9 years ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Stacey and TJ’s wedding on Tybee Island. And in a full circle moment, we did their engagement session on the beach at sunrise too! Witnessing their journey from a couple to a beautiful family of four has been so fun. They were visiting the St. Pete area for a wedding, but unfortunately TJ couldn’t join due to military commitments. But it was so special to meet their kids and capture these moments for them!

A Blanket: Great for little ones sitting on the sand, and can add a splash of color or texture to your photos!
Props and Toys: Stacey brought her daughter’s boogie board, which made for adorable, playful photos and added to the FUN experience of the shoot!
Outfit Changes: Halfway through our session, the kids changed into bathing suits, which was so cute for candid shots by the water.
