Lately I’ve been very focused on figuring out a morning routine that will get me into alignment before I start my day. I want to do things that make me feel joyful and peaceful before I do work, because from what I’ve been learning about how energetic vibrations of matter work (spoiler alert: we are made of matter, so our bodies have a vibration just like everything else on the planet), raising your vibration BEFORE you work will help you achieve more effortless results. Why? Because then you aren’t working against the natural flow of positive energy. You aren’t working from a negative place of fear or worry, and you aren’t trying to strong arm your way into success. Instead, you are getting into alignment with your higher purpose, and as a result everything will flow more easily.

It’s Throwback Thursday, so let’s throw wayyyy back to high school today. Do you remember who your crush was back in those days? Of course you do! It was the boy who made the butterflies go crazy in your stomach. It was the guy you actually ran away from in the halls because the idea of actually talking to him was just too painful in the best way possible. You pined over him, doodled his name, and imagined what it would be like if you got married someday.

When Hannah said “I do,” she not only became a wife to Daniel, but also a momma to his three sweet children. This sweet family of five committed their lives to each other on a bright sunny day out at the Mighty 8th Airforce Museum in Pooler, GA, and there was nothing but smiles on everyone’s faces all day long.

I have learned over the years that I am absolutely terrible at saying “no” to things when I need to. But because I know that, I’ve been working hard on figuring out what my bigger “yes” is, so I’ll have solid reasons to fall back on when I have to say no.

I was the first person at Gallery Espresso this morning. I had my laptop open before 8am, sipping coffee and writing love notes to my clients. And before that I was walking through downtown Savannah, soaking up every bit of this gorgeous, crisp weather. 

And y’all…I got to enjoy all of that morning loveliness for one simple reason: because I love my job so much that I actually get up early to do it. 🙌🏻

Laura + Michael are one of my favorite couples on the planet. I don’t think I’ve ever met two people more perfectly tailored for each other. They are incredibly similar and yet completely different. They challenge each other, they share common interests, and they just simply enjoy doing life together. Five years ago (!!) they trusted me to take their engagement photos, and now they are happily married and more madly in love than ever. No better reason in the world for a photo shoot than simply being madly in love. <3
