Teresa + TJ were planning to have a big wedding with their friends + family in May of 2020, but COVID came along and changed those plans. Instead they decided to get married in June in an intimate wedding in Forsyth Park, and it was such a lovely, personal celebration. From a first dance under […]

Robyn + Michael’s elopement was so perfectly Savannah – from a first look in Forsyth Park, to saying their vows under the magnificent oaks in Pulaski Square. With just their parents in attendance, they started their marriage adventure with an intimate, meaningful celebration of their love. (Psst – this elopement wasn’t part of the Savannah […]

Savannah Backyard Elopement If you’ve been following me on Instagram for awhile, you might remember back in 2017 I moved into the second Apt. B. (The first one was a studio apartment – the first place I lived in Savannah!) And while I was living in Second Apt. B, I had the good fortune of […]

Intimate weddings like Lindsey + Shawn’s Chatham Square elopement make me SO happy. While a big bash is incredibly beautiful in it’s own way, there’s something about the simplicity of saying “I do” with just your closest friends and family that feels extra special to me. No timelines to stress over, not a lot of details to worry about, and a focus on just celebrating the beginning of your marriage adventure in your favorite place with your favorite people.

It’s early January, just barely the new year. It’s chilly outside. Cold enough to feel crisp and romantic, but not so cold that you want to hide indoors.

The first time I met Kristin + Matt was on their wedding day. I already knew from our conversations that I was going to love this sweet couple, but you know what sealed the deal? When Kristin hugged me hello like she’d known me for years. (My mom taught me that a good hug is a tight hug, and that hugging when you greet someone is the best way to make them feel welcomed, so I’ve always been a “hugger.”)

What’s better than getting married? Getting married twice (to the same person) of course! I had the honor of photographing Rosa and Matt’s intimate legal ceremony in Pulaski Square a couple of months ago, and it was the prettiest, most perfect day to say “I do.” Then you may have seen photos I posted on social media from a black tie wedding I attended a couple of weeks ago at the Cathedral here in Savannah–well, that was Rosa and Matt’s religious ceremony! So I got to be both guest and photographer, witnessing their commitment to each other twice, from two different perspectives. It was just the best way to celebrate two of my sweet friends starting their lives together. <3
