Kayla and Travis met at Saddlebags on River Street in Savannah, Texas Two-Stepping the night away. After a six month whirlwind romance, they decided to commit their lives to each other at big wedding with tons of friends and family in attendance. But, when they began to put together all the details for their celebration, they realized quickly that a big wedding just wasn’t right for them.
Instead, just three weeks after getting engaged, they said “I do” under the oaks of Forsyth Park, with just an officiant and a photographer (me!) in attendance. Kayla bought flowers at Carlstedt’s (a local wholesale flower shop) and made her bouquet and Travis’ boutonnière, did her own hair and makeup, and bought her dress at David’s Bridal just days before the ceremony.
It was a sweet, simple celebration filled with LOTS of laughing and love–the perfect way to begin their marriage adventure.
