Welcome to the gorgeous Philippe Park in Safety Harbor, FL! Philippe Park is a historic, naturally beautiful park designed around an ancient Native American temple mound that’s on the National Register of Historic Landmarks. There are 92 acres in the park, but the area right around the temple mound are the most beautiful for family photography in Philippe Park!

This park is the perfect location for family photos, because we have so many beautiful backgrounds to use!

I usually meet families at the historical mound, and then we can easily walk to the giant oak draped in Spanish moss, winding “jungle” staircase, and lovely Tampa Bay waterfront. All of the locations are very kid-friendly – lots to look at and explore, so the photo shoot feels like an adventure!

My Candid Approach to Photography

While I’ll always capture the posed photos (most frequently printed for grandma’s mantle!), my favorite things to capture are those spontaneous moments that happen when your family is just being themselves. Whether it’s your toddler’s silly laugh or a quiet moment between siblings, I want you to look at your photos and really see your family.

• Wear comfortable clothes that reflect your style and personality. We will be walking around and there are quite a few stairs, so comfy shoes are a plus!
