I’m officially on a quest to uncover the most unique family session locations across St. Pete! There are SO many gorgeous spots for photo shoots, and I recently had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful family session in the Old Northeast neighborhood in Granada Terrace Park.

The Old Northeast, with its sprawling oaks and whispering palm trees, is the perfect blend of Florida landscapes. The brick streets and waterfront walkways have a timeless charm, creating a perfect scene for family photos!

One of the most enchanting features of this location is the iconic pink Tabebuia Tree. It blooms once a year, and I got lucky enough to capture these magical photos in front of it this year during this family session in the Old Northeast. The vibrant pink flowers look like they are straight out of a fairy tale. It’s important to remember that this beautiful tree is located in a private yard. The owners welcome onlookers, but a sign marker by the tree kindly asks visitors not to trespass past it. As we enjoy these beautiful sights, respecting these boundaries ensures everyone can continue to appreciate them!

Another lovely aspect of the Old Northeast neighborhood is Coffee Pot Bayou. Here, you might even spot manatees gently gliding through the water, adding a magical touch to the already serene atmosphere. It’s moments like these that make sessions in St. Pete so special!

St. Pete is filled with so many unique locations for family photography sessions, each with its own story and beauty. Granada Terrace Park and the Old Northeast neighborhood are just the beginning -and I’m on a mission to find as many of these gems as possible!
