Family Photo Shoot on Sunset Beach

I photographed Kristin + Malik’s wedding in Savannah back in 2019, so it was a fun full circle moment to photograph their family photo shoot on Sunset Beach in Treasure Island!

St. Petersburg, Florida, has so many stunning locations for family photo shoots, and Sunset Beach on Treasure Island is definitely one of my favorite spots. This picturesque stretch of coastline offers the perfect backdrop, with its blue water, white sand and rock jetty.

Golden Hour 

Sunset Beach lives up to its name, and the magic begins during the golden hour – that enchanting period just before sunset when the sky is painted with hues of pink, orange, and gold. The soft, warm light creates a dreamy backdrop for fun family memories – the perfect family vacation souvenir!

One of the great advantages of Sunset Beach is its diversity in scenery. You can get photos right on the sandy shoreline, or with the jetty in the back, or you could even get in the water!
