As Lauren + Graham held hands, the Bluffton marsh stretching out behind them and their friends + family sitting in front of them, they answered their vows with the word “always” instead of “I do.”

And it stopped me in my tracks. What a beautiful way to promise forever to each other – with a simple word that says it all, and a personal touch that made their ceremony so perfectly THEM.

In fact, their day was filled with so many personal details that made me smile – from the ceremony arch Graham built out of railroad ties, to his Star Wars cuff links, to the BEST hankie I’ve ever seen a groom give his bride. (See if you can spot it below – and you’re welcome for the laugh!)
