Downtown St. Pete Engagement Session

Lisa and Eric, a lovely couple from Alabama, booked me for their elopement in St. Pete and decided to do an engagement session the day before! Their downtown St. Pete engagement session was filled with beautiful moments and iconic locations.

A Stylish Start at the Vinoy

We began the session with Lisa and Eric in dressier outfits, capturing elegant photos outside the iconic pink Vinoy Hotel, with the bougainvillea flowers in North Straub Park, and around the Vinoy Marina. The Vinoy’s stunning architecture and the beautiful marina provided perfect backdrops for their photos.

Adorable Balcony Moments

Next, we headed up to their room in the Vinoy to get some cute shots with their French bulldog on the balcony. The pup added so much fun and personality to the session! Tip for bringing your dog to a photo shoot: Consider leaving them in your hotel room until it’s time for their photos, or bring someone to handle your dog. That way you can spend most of the shoot fully present and focused on each other!

Casual Vibes at the St. Pete Pier

After a quick outfit change, we moved to the St. Pete Pier. This location offers endless photo opportunities, from palm trees and views of the St. Pete skyline to modern architecture and stunning sunsets over the city. The pier’s diverse settings allowed us to capture a variety of beautiful shots!

Lisa had her hair and makeup done by Michele at Lasting Luxe Artistry, adding an extra touch of elegance to her look – and also giving her a chance to get to know the artist who would be doing her hair and makeup for her elopement!
