I love photographing love. And yeah, that’s super cliche for a wedding photographer to say. But the thing is, I get to capture SO much of it, in so many shapes and forms. It’s not just the love between my couples. It’s the love a momma has for her daughter on her wedding day. It’s the love a groom and his groomsmen share (even if they won’t admit it). It’s the love between sisters, or between parents as they watch their son marry the woman of his dreams.

And in Kristin + Malik’s case, it’s both romantic love AND the love they have for their son Jordan. As I showed these photos to Brian while I was culling, he kept saying “they just look so happy.” And that hits the nail on the head – these three ARE so happy together. You can see how much Malik adores being a dad and Kristin loves being a mom, and what a kick they get out of watching each other be parents. And of course, you know Jordan loves them right back. When shooting their Family Session we focused on not just the love between everyone, but the joy!
