There aren’t many things I love photographing more than genuine emotion – and that’s probably why I love shooting proposals so much. Because the emotion is so sweet, so intense, and so authentic.

I typically have been planning the proposal shoot with the guy for at least a month in advance, so I know how excited he is already – and then on the day of the proposal, I get to see how over-the-moon happy his new fiancé is when he gets down on one knee in a gorgeous downtown Savannah square.

The rush of emotion, the laughter, the hugs, the tears…I love capturing it all.
