heirloom albums

When I was little, I loved trying on my mom’s wedding dress. Sleeves too long, train all bunched up around my feet, the lace yellowing and brittle - but it just held so much magic. Because it was the dress my mom was wearing when she began her marriage adventure with my dad.

We only have a few photos of my mom in that dress, because that’s just how it was back in the day - and you know I looked at those photos more times than I can count.

So when I’m taking photos on a wedding day, I’m thinking about kids and grandkids who will spend hours flipping through their wedding album, hungry for details from that magical day.

Wedding photos are a luxury, yes. But they are also a legacy. And an heirloom album will preserve that legacy for generations to come.
